Professional Credentials
George F. Peckham MS, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice, working individually with clients and facilitating therapy groups helping men recover from the devastating affects of sexual addiction. For the last six years, George has served as the Men's Clinical Director for Northern California's most successful outpatient program for sexual addiction.
Professional Certifications
George is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and was trained by Dr. Patrick Carnes. He uses a variety of evidenced based treatment modalities including Affect Management Skills Training (AMST) to help clients achieve solid sobriety from sexual acting out behaviors.

George is a member of the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP); The Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH); Professional Association of Sexual Addiction Therapists (PASAT); California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT); as well as the Sacramento Valley Chapter of CAMFT (SAC-CAMFT).

With over 20 years experience participating in men’s groups and 25 plus years in the recovery community, George is dedicated to his own personal recovery. This experience has allowed him to thoroughly understand addiction and the recovery process.
